Personal Enrichment Program (PEP)

Dominican Santa Cruz Hospital offers a variety of Personal Enrichment Program (PEP) classes and programs that are either free or discounted for Physicians Medical Group (PMG) patients who are members of the following HMO's: Aetna, Blue Shield, California Care, Cigna, Health Net, Great West Healthcare, PacifiCare, and Secure Horizons. Registration and a physician's referral are required. Proof of HMO insurance must be presented at time of registration. Well Woman Exam

Physicians Medical Group of Santa Cruz, along with your HMO Health Plan, allows women members to self-refer to a gynecologist for their annual well woman examination, which would include the following procedures: Pelvic examination, Pap smear test, Manual breast examination and instructions for performing self-examinations at home, and Educational literature. Free Joint Pain Seminar

Please join us for a complimentary Joint Pain Seminar on June 18, August 13 or October 15 from 6:30-8:00 pm. The seminars will be held in the Dominican Hospital Education Building on 1555 Soquel Drive, Santa Cruz. Nicholas A. Abidi, MD and Peter M. Reynolds, MD from the Santa Cruz Orthopaedic Institute will be discussing the causes of hip and knee pain, new treatment options, total join replacement and the rehabilitation and recovery process.
