Dignity Health Medical Network committees are held on a regular basis to set quality goals for all affiliated physicians, care partners and organizations. Each committee is chaired by a physician and committee members include Primary Care Physicians, Specialists, practice business managers and members of the DHMN administrative team.
Quality Improvement/Utilization Management
The QI/UM Committee objectively monitors and evaluates the quality of care and services provided by DHMN and identifies opportunities for improvement. The committee identifies the most appropriate, cost effective method of providing quality patient care and oversees all utilization management activities including reviewing national policies and procedures and Health Plan Policies, guidelines and pathways for patient treatment and care, and ensuring all services provided by providers and physicians meet DHMN’s standard of care.
